Our Story

Catalyst-Facilitating Change was born of its founder Ms. Manisha Shaikh’s desire to seek the elusive Holy Grail of Work-life balance and her life’s passion & purpose. During her tenure as an Operations Manager with The Times Of India, Manisha realized that she felt truly in her element when she was meaningfully contributing to the development and growth of her team of fourteen. She realized that playing the role of the ‘Catalyst’ that helped people discover, hone and unleash their hidden potential provided the purpose & meaning she was seeking.


Thus, Catalyst-Facilitating Change was created to channel its founder’s desire to identify and unleash the incredible potential of human capital. Catalyst aims to be the facilitator of its client partners’ journey in becoming the best version of themselves be it an individual, a team or an organization.


From 2003 to 2007 Catalyst FC was a one-woman operation, working predominantly in the space of Communication and Soft Skills Training. True to its ethos of wanting to make a difference, a significant amount Catalyst’s services were consciously offered pro bono to those who needed it. In a time where scores of freshly-minted, young MNC & BPO professionals struggled to improve their English Language & Communication Skills, Catalyst saw the opportunity to put into action one of its core values of supporting people to discover and develop their potential.

In 2006, Manisha completed her Diploma in Organizational Studies, this paved the way for numerous other certifications in the
related domains of Psychometrics, Human Behavior and Performance Science.


Year 2008 saw Catalyst grow by the addition of two Senior OD, HR and L&D professionals and it then expanded its services to include the domain of HR Consulting and Leadership Development. Simultaneously Manisha was empanelled on the Assessor Panels
of numerous prestigious Talent Management Consulting Firms working in the space of Senior Management Assessments / Development and Coaching.


From its nascent one-woman beginnings in 2003, today Catalyst FC is a collective of six dynamic, competent, qualified and experienced professionals driven by the Catalyst core values of being the ‘Catalysts’ who facilitate positive change in people and organizations in their endeavor to discover, enhance and optimize their potential.


The last twelve years have seen Catalyst partner with a variety of organizations, large, middling and small, belonging to the diverse sectors of IT, ITES, Automobile, Manufacturing, Forging, Heavy Engineering, Animation, Consulting Services, Hospitality, Pharmaceutical and more, to deliver high quality and impactful Training, Coaching and HR Consulting Services.
